【摘要】:Thescopeincludesonlycranesofthetypesdescribedinpara.22-0.2.1thatarearticulatedbyhydrauliccylindersandpoweredbyinternalcombustionenginesorelectricmotorsandthataremountedonamobilechassisorstationaryinstallation.ArticulatingcranesequippedwithaloadhoistmechanismtobroadentheirversatilityarecoveredbythisVolume.Somebasicmachinetypeswithinthisscopeareconvertibleforexcavatingworkandotherusesnotconsideredtobeliftingservice.TherequirementsofthisVolumeareapplicableonlytosuchmachineswhenusedasliftingcranes.ExemptionsfromthisVolumeinclude(a)allunitswithamaximumratedcapacityof2,000lb(907kg)orless(b)allunitswithboomsconstructedofnonconductive-typematerials(c)allunitsequippedwithordesignedprimarilyforpersonnelbaskets,platforms,ladders,etc.(d)allunitswhenequippedwithnonliftingattachments(e)allunitswhileusedinforestryandloggingapplications(f)telescopingboomcranesthatdonotarticulate(coveredunderASMEB30.5)(g)scrapandmaterialhandlersasdefinedinASMEB30.25
