【摘要】:WithinthecontextoftheISO/IEEE11073familyofstandardsfordevicecommunication,thisstandardestablishesanormativedefinitionofcommunicationbetweenpersonaltelehealthpulseoximeterdevicesandcomputeengines(e.g.,cellphones,personalcomputers,personalhealthappliances,settopboxes)inamannerthatenablesplug-and-play(PnP)interoperability.ItleveragesappropriateportionsofexistingstandardsincludingISO/IEEE11073terminology,informationmodels,applicationprofilestandards,andtransportstandards.Itspecifiestheuseofspecifictermcodes,formats,andbehaviorsintelehealthenvironmentsrestrictingoptionalityinbaseframeworksinfavorofinteroperability.Thisstandarddefinesacommoncoreofcommunicationfunctionalityforpersonaltelehealthpulseoximeters.Thisstandardaddressesaneedforanopenlydefined,independentstandardforcontrollinginformationexchangetoandfrompersonalhealthdevicesandcomputeengines(e.g.,cellphones,personalcomputers,personalhealthappliances,settopboxes).Interoperabilityiskeytogrowingthepotentialmarketforthesedevicesandenablingpeopletobebetterinformedparticipantsinthemanagementoftheirhealth.
